About Me
I am Abu Saleh Muhammad Fakhrul Islam, second son of Md. Abul Khair Sarker and Suraiya Begum. I am a graduate student studying in Dept. of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at University of Dhaka. My home district is Comilla.
I have two brothers and two sisters. Both of my sisters are younger than me. Of my brothers, one is elder and another is younger. My elder brother is married and is a service holder, and rest of my siblings, including me, are students. My father is a Principal of a college and my mother is an assistant professor of that very college.
Well, let me brief on me now. I would like to introduce myself as a man of confidence. I never become pessimist as I do believe in the omnipotent god- Allah. I believe whatever happens to me is but my fate destined by The Almighty. That's why I never lose heart and never break down. I always try to be a happy-go-lucky sort of person don't know if I could be one.
I like to take part in sports no matter whatever it is. In particular, when it comes to playing in the field, it's mostly about cricket. But when it comes to watching one, I might prefer football. Apart from playing in the field, I like to play Guitar also. Umm...love actually! I have formed a musical band named 'PlayStation'. I do have huge interest in drums also.
To say about my favorite music, I am little omnivorous! I listen to anything safe to my eardrums. I like Rabindra songs, Nazrul songs, evergreen Bangla songs, Pakistani band songs, Hindi movie songs, Rap songs, Progressive rock, Thrash metal, Dead metal, Nu metal, Alternative rock, Jazz etc. (to be honest, I am still mystified how they are defined exactly).
I enjoy hanging around with my friends and to debate with them on a topic that involves science, sports, politics, human psychology and what not? I like to study and to work on analytical subjects that does not make me get bogged in memorizing. I like to decipher the puzzles that call my knowledge into play. I like to study something that is aberrant, I mean, not typical. Actually, I like science. I honor science.
Oops! I have not said anything about my aim yet. Well, I cherish a dream to do something efficacious that will serve the mankind eternally. I want to do research on nanotechnology.
